It’s that time of year again for our annual Little Dragons and Juniors Awards Event.
We’ve booked it for Sunday, the 25th of May at Blackburn Rovers from 4pm until 7pm.

Last year was an amazing event which saw around 150 of our students awarded for their fantastic efforts over the last 12 months, with students recognised for
Great Progress
Great Commitment
Great Start
Great Focus
Great Competitive Spirit
The ultimate Student of The Year Awards for a range of belts were made and the winners were Samantha, Emily, Nadia, Sumayyah, Sawdah, Finlay, Rayhaan & Harry.

The overall student of the year, Harry, was awarded a beautifully engraved white oak Bokken
This is a highly prized possession and represents the hard work and dedication of the winner. It is a symbol of their achievement and a reminder of the skills they have developed over the course of their training.
The event is also opportunity to fund raise to support our students activities. This year we are holding a raffle, cake sale and other fundraising activities. We’ve been supported by lots of local businesses so there will be some great prizes to win. Raffle tickets are on sale now at Academy reception.
The deputy mayor has confirmed attendance to take part in the celebration, along with the country's and the highest Ju Jitsu 10th dan black belt, Professor Martin Dixon

Tickets have been held at last year‘s prices and are available at Reception at £15 per adults, £10 per child (under 12), This price includes a pie supper with a halal/vegetarian option too. We would love you all to support us and celebrate in the success of the children, as well as to hear all about their achievements and our activities of the last year.
As well as acknowledging our students activities at the Academy, we’d also love to hear about any other activities your children take part in outside of Ju Jitsu.

Tickets sell out every year so please make sure you secure yours in plenty of time as it would be a shame to miss your child receiving a certificate or award.
We are always looking for volunteers to support our external activities, and you could help us this year by volunteering to bake some cakes to be sold at the event or to help in general on the day. If you are available to help in anyway then please ask a reception and we’ll put you in touch with our parents committee.

We invite all parents, friends, and family members to join us at this event, which is not to be missed, to celebrate our young students’ accomplishments. It is also an opportunity to have some fun and enjoy the company of our martial arts community, while supporting a great cause.
Blackburn Rovers Stadium, Ewood Park has ample parking and easy access to public transportation, making it a convenient location for all attendees.
It promises to be a fantastic day out for the whole family, and we look forward to seeing you there!
